Publishing and Scholarship Venues
Perhaps the first venue to consider should be a pedagogically focused journal within your own discipline.
Beyond this, the list of journals is long and every-changing. We offer a several resources that compile publishing opportunities in below. There is some overlap, but each site offers something special. Look below for venues for journals that publish students' scholarship and for publication options for scholarship beyond the traditional research paper format.

Extensive resources on publishing in service learning including best practices in publishing community engaged scholarship, publishing opportunities, sample articles, and assessment tools
- University of Central Arkansas: Service-Learning Journals
Links to student-focused service learning journals as well as for academics; also service conferences
- Campus Connect’s Guide to Publishing Engaged Scholarship
Published in 2017, this is still a great resource including lists of journals, references on doing scholarship, organizations that promote scholarship on Service Learning and Community Engagement, SL/CE friendly book publishers, and more
