Institutional Effectiveness and Compliance

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Compliance provides support to Divisions, Units, and Programs in the pursuit of Continuous Improvement via data analysis and interpretation; assessment-related professional development; survey creation and distribution; general education assessment; academic program assessment; and mandated reporting requirements — including regional accreditation, state-mandated reporting, and federally mandated reporting. We pursue these endeavors in support of USC Upstate’s overall mission of providing rigorous, career-relevant and accessible education; enhancing the quality of life in the Upstate of South Carolina; and being the university of choice for faculty, staff, students, and the community.
