Employee of the Year
The Classified Employee of the Year is a prestigious award that recognizes classified employees who consistently serve the University of South Carolina Upstate with dedication, integrity, and professionalism. Each year after nominations are received, a committee of faculty and staff select the award recipient. This person is recognized during the May Day Picnic each spring semester. Beginning in 2014, two awards will be presented: The Helen C. “Muffet” Sansbury Administrative Staff Employee of the Year and The Helen C. “Muffet” Sansbury Facilities Staff Employee of the Year. Each winner will receive a $1,000 check from the USC Upstate Foundation.
