The University Staff Senate exists as an advisory body to provide a forum for the discussion of policies and issues that affect the staff at USC Upstate.
The Senate serves as an advocate for staff employees and an avenue for communication within the USC Upstate campus. It seeks to foster a spirit of unity and cooperation among all employees. It is administratively responsible to the Chancellor working in consultation with the USC Upstate Director of Human Resources as an ex-officio non-voting member.
