Professional Development Opportunities
The Sponsored Awards and Research Support Office (SARS) offers a Professional Development Workshop Series and Program Workdays.
Grants Funding and Research Course offered on Blackboard
This course will introduce you to the support and resources at your disposal to pursue, build, and secure funding for your scholarship. Additionally, you will be given guidance and advice on and all things related to grants, including how to find and secure funding, proposal writing, and more!
This course offers you more flexibility because you will be able to navigate it at your own pace, as all the material can be enjoyed asynchronously. Faculty can earn badges by completing modules, which represents a form of continuing education. We hope that you can learn something new from this course and be encouraged to pursue funding both internally and externally.
Be sure to check the SARS calendar. routinely for upcoming workshops and due dates
