Reaching Out to Students in Need
Spartans Care is a campus-wide initiative that encourages USC Upstate students to support, respect and take responsibility for one another. Spartans Care strives to foster a community where students reach out to students in need and assist in referring them to appropriate resources on campus.
Care Team
The Upstate CARE (Campus Assessment, Referral, and Evaluation) Team supports the safety, health, and well-being of all students, faculty and staff.
Spartan Pantry
The mission of the Spartan Pantry is to provide food, nutritional information, and other basic necessitates to students in need.
Accessibility
The Universal Design Committee promotes campus awareness and assists the University community in making academic content, programs, services, and activities accessible for everyone.
Disability Services
The office of Disability Services at the University of South Carolina Upstate works to ensure that educational programming and services are accessible to students with disabilities.
Health Services
Health Services offers confidential medical care on campus to all enrolled students, faculty and staff. The office supports the sick, well and reproductive healthcare needs of our students, and immunization records management.
Public Safety
The University of South Carolina Upstate maintains a full-service 24-hour Police Department staffed by certified law enforcement officers.

Student Wellbeing Ambassadors
The Student Wellbeing Ambassadors at USC Upstate are dedicated student leaders who assist their peers in fostering healthy routines, building meaningful relationships, and engaging in campus life. By promoting wellness initiatives, they aim to enhance the overall student experience and create a supportive community.
