RHA Executive Board Self-Nominations 2013-2014

Housing and Residential Life thanks you for your interest in being an Executive Board member of the Residence Hall Association! The office is looking for residents who are interested in enriching the residential community by being advocates. In addition, you will have the opportunity to meet people, facilitate large scale programs, attend student conferences and develop leadership skills.

Self-nominations are being accepted until Friday, March 22, 2013 at midnight.

 Nominees have the option to do a five minute presentation or speech on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at 7 p.m., in Sparty's.

Qualifications:

  1. 2.5 GPA or higher
  2. Full-time student with at least 12 credit hours per semester
  3. Live on campus for the 2013-2014 school year
  4. Good academic and disciplinary standing

Presentation/Speech Requirement

All nominees must be available to do a five minute presentation or speech on Thursday, March 28 at 6 p.m., in Sparty's. The presentation or speech should explain the following:

  • Why do you want to be on the RHA Executive Board?
  • How would you improve the residential community if you are selected for your desired position?
