Julia is originally
from Georgia, but has lived in South Carolina over 30 years. After obtaining Bachelor of Science in
Nursing (BSN) from USC in Columbia, Julia’s career as a Registered Nurse
predominantly has been in Public Health, from which she retired after serving
as Program Manager for Home Health Services with South Carolina Department of
Health & Environmental Control (SC DHEC) in Spartanburg County. She now
enjoys working in Health Services at USC Upstate, where she has been employed since
