Counseling Services is committed to serving the USC Upstate community by offering programs and presentations on a variety of mental health topics. Our staff is available to conduct presentations focused on enhancing students’ mental health and overall development. You may view Educational Workshop offerings below or request a workshop online.
Counseling Services offers online mental health screenings that are free, anonymous, and offer immediate results on the following topics: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Alcohol or Substance Use Concerns, Eating Concerns, and Mood Concerns.
Counseling Services staff also consult with faculty, staff, students, parents, and the campus community regarding potential students of concern. Feedback may also be given through the Incident Report Form (RU OK?). Please find detailed information about how to help a student in our Recognizing Students in Emotional Distress handbook.
Counseling Services has developed a series of workshops that are designed for use in your classroom, club or organization. These programs can be requested below or by calling our office at 864-503-5195. Please contact us at least four weeks in advance to schedule a program.
