Emily Ward Rogers is a nursing graduate, and after 33 years of teaching Surgical Technology at Spartanburg Community College, she will be retiring in April. She has also been nominated as her college’s nominee for the Governor’s Distinguished Professor of the Year award and she attended the awards luncheon in Columbia on November 1.
Margaret “Peggy” Hope received her Associate in Nursing at USCS in 1977. She went on to receive her BSN in 1988 and MN in 1997 both at USC Columbia. She has 30+ years of a career in nursing mostly maternal-child. She also serves on the Georgetown Co. Board of Disabilities and Special Needs and the Board of SC Prenatal Association. He recently competed in Ironman Cancun and qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship, which was held in November in Clearwater, Florida.
