Group Fitness

Group Fitness classes provide you with access to a wide variety of activities led by qualified instructors. From endurance, to strength, to mind/body and flexibility, our programs are designed to work for you!

Getting Started
Review the schedule below and pick out the classes that work for you. Click on the class name for a description of what you can expect. Classes are all drop in, so you can come to any class you want, whenever you want. You don't have to sign up for a particular class, and you aren't obligated to keep coming to the same class.

Bring your Student/Faculty/Staff ID or photo ID to each class and present it to your instructor for scanning. Due to popularity, make sure to show up early to guarantee your spot, as some classes will fill up.

Class Descriptions

Aqua Zumba
Splash your way into shape with an invigorating, low-impact aquatic exercise. Known as the Zumba® "pool party," the Aqua Zumba program gives new meaning to the idea of a refreshing workout. Integrating the Zumba philosophy with traditional aquatic fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba® blends it all together into a workout that's cardio-conditioning, body-toning,and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.

Butts ‘N Guts
Looking to tone your lower body and core? This is the class for you! Using basic strength training principles and a variety of equipment, this class is sure to target and strengthen your abs, butt, hips and thighs.

An amazing cardiovascular workout that is perfect for all levels. Instructors will lead you through a variety of drills on the bike, with motivating music to keep you going. Please bring a towel and a water bottle as this class will make you sweat!

Gentle Yoga
Yoga is an ancient form of physical exercise. Benefits include greater flexibility, increased stamina and strength along with a sense of wellbeing. This is a slow-paced and alignment based class to facilitate ease and awareness in the body. Instructors will demonstrate and make individual adjustments with consideration of your level of practice. Gentle Yoga is appropriate for anyone from the absolute beginner to the experienced practitioner.

Hydro Power
Have you ever thought about strength training in the comfort of water? If so, this class is for you! Use resistance techniques to tone and strengthen your upper body, lower body and core. This class will not only build your strength, but increase your flexibility and range of motion as well.

Jiu Jitsu 
This extremely effective self-defense system can be used to protect oneself against virtually any attacker. Jiu Jitsu is taught in a friendly club atmosphere and can be used by anyone regardless of strength, weight or gender. All you need to start is loose clothing and a great attitude.

This popular training program comes to life as our instructors teach you how to punch, kick and block your way through a fun and challenging cardiovascular workout! Increase self-confidence, flexibility, coordination, speed and stamina while having fun! Kickboxing is the workout with a KICK!

Latin Dance
Do you enjoy dancing? Want to learn how to move your hips? Come experience many of the basic moves that form the framework to many Latin dance styles. The hip movements in the class are sure to tone your abs and thighs while also increasing your heart rate.

Spartan Burn
This class will hit every muscle group in your body through interval training and floor work. A variety of equipment may be used in class including your own body weight. Each class puts emphasis on functionality and core development while delivering a tough, comprehensive strength and cardio session. This class will always be fun, effective and new.

Total Body Makeover
This class is designed for all fitness levels with a variety of options given for each exercise. Using your own body weight, basic equipment and unique exercises, this class allows for an interval based total body workout tailored to your fitness level. This is a great class to take prior to jumping into Spartan Burn.

This Latin-inspired dance-fitness class incorporates Latin and International music and dance movements to create a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness system. The class format combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body in an aerobic fashion to achieve a unique balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits. Ditch the workout and join the party!
